Python Job: Senior Python Developer

This role will be the first hire of a commodity trading company's data analysis and technology team. We are looking for a Python programmer/developer with experience in the following.

1) Develop and deliver data parsing, analysis, and reporting projects. Build tools that utilize data pipelines to provide actionable insights into current business. Ability to connect and deploy solutions with connectivity to Microsoft Excel.

2) Experience in Python for automation data transformation and process automation (emails, web scraping, reporting etc.) . Ability to extract and clean data (data sets and time series data) from various sources / REST API’s

3) Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources and storing them in a data lake/data store (cloud-based) . Manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets Experience in working with multiple data sources and handling large volumes of data.

4) Build infrastructure that would easily allow access to users to the data stored in a data lake.

5) Ad-hoc analysis of several time series data to actionable insights.

6) Experience in implementing data solutions using Python and its libraries (pandas, NumPy, etc.)

7) Experience implementing best practices in version management and code maintenance (git/GitHub).

8) Ability to create a vision and actionable roadmap focusing on ongoing innovation.

9) Experience in using/developing AI solutions would be a plus

Requirement

- Strong understanding Solid understanding of Python concepts, SQL, and Databases and experience in building data infrastructure and automation from the ground up.

- Good communication skills

- The ability to work independently and remotely.

- Ability to lead and manage teams remotely.

Job Type: Regular / Permanent

Salary: Up to ₹1,800,000.00 per year
